A little at a time...

Today a light bulb when off in my head as I decided to finally hang up a pile of clothes in my room that has been there forever..(embarrassingly enough). 'I never have enough time' to pick it up and put it away.

That is when it dawned on me...
a little at a time.
That is all I have to do to complete this task that seems so large.
(ps. If I ever get a bigger closet maybe I could make it look like this!)

Lately I have tried to apply this in all aspects of my life-- ie. eating healthy, exercising and completing school work. 

If I have one piece of fruit a day.. it encourages me to eat more! etc.

**I have a new goal.
Run 15 minutes a day!

It would be a joke if I messed that up right?? ( Well at least this is what I am telling myself for motivation)
Just a little at a time. :)

Ps. It helps that we have a treadmill at home! (How awesome is that). I don't even have to leave my apartment for an awesome workout. I love it so much!

I am confident that if I keep this slogan, it can help me to achieve many things.. of course just a little at a time!

What big goals would you like to accomplish?? And what are you doing TODAY to achieve them?

(ps. The Book of Mormon teaches this same principle with the scripture..."By small and simple means are great things brought to pass.")

Oh how I have a testimony of that!

Sister Missionaries

About 20% of all missionaries of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are sisters.
And in recent years the church sends out about 30,000 missionaries a year.

That is about 6,000 sister missionaries serving currently. 

I have two sister friends about to enter the MTC.
One to the Budapest, Hungary mission and the other to Stockholm, Sweden!
How cool is that??
I know both will do great work in their assigned areas.

Bookstore Fudge

Did you know the BYU Bookstore sells about 3.5 tons of fudge every year?
 
According to my source- fudge is the number one income source for the bookstore.
Can you believe it?

I will... by the mere fact that it is so delicious! mmm.. :)

What is something random you learned today?

I puchased these 3 books today..

Gotta love book store sales and religious books.

Because 1/5 of the world's population is Muslim or Islamic I am anxious to read Muhammad! :)

Welcome and the Beginning!

I began writing in my journal today, and there are so many things I would love to share with the world that I learn everyday.

I feel like such an advocate for education.  
Education really is  POWER. I have never realized it more then in this, my twenty-second year of life. I love to learn! And there is probably no greater feeling than picking up a book that interests you and reading it! Or researching a topic you want to learn more about and realizing it.
